Shake the bottle gently before use.

Deposits may occur, but are insignificant. We recommend using gloves. At a distance of approx. 30 centimetres, simply spray the odour-free and nearly invisible Pure Guard Water on the furniture or carpet you want to protect until the surface is slightly damp.

Spray at an arm’s length, so you do not inhale Pure Guard directly.

The solution must be completely dry (12-24 hours) before the furniture/carpet/textile can be used again, but this also makes the proofing last longer.

We recommend that you always spray a small sample first if you are uncertain whether the item you wish to proof can be impregnated. You can test for yourself whether the proofing worked by dripping a little water on the fabric/carpet. The water should form droplets on the fabric/carpet’s water based

Keep out of reach of children.

Instructions for use of Pure Guard

Product Info

Stains and dirt on carpets and furniture is an inevitable part of life – especially for families with small children.

And while you may be able to tackle such stains with a lot of elbow grease, carpet cleaner and removable slip-covers that risk being damaged in the washing machine, stains are always difficult, irritating and leave an untidy impression.

With the new proofing spray, Pure Guard Water, you can now protect your home against most stains, grease and grime in an easy, effective and long-lasting manner.

Pure Guard Water is a proofing agent that works by penetrating the fibres and laying an almost invisible protective membrane that repels grease, water, grime and stains – but not hot drinks.

The difference between a piece of fabric that has been treated with Pure Guard Water and one that is untreated is remarkable: If the children spill a glass of soda on a sofa with untreated fabric, for instance, the soda immediately permeates the fabric, leaving a large dark stain that is hard to get out even with a lot of hard work. If the family has pre-treated the sofa with Pure Guard Water, the cola would not permeate the fabric, but would form a small “puddle” on top of it, which can then be soaked up with a rag or paper towel. Even chocolate fingers, soda and grime from shoes that transfers to carpets, hotdogs that end up on the patio furniture cushion, and all other sources of stains in the home are repelled by Pure Guard Water, which prolongs the lifetime of your furniture and carpets. Grime on a carpet is dried of with a damp cloth.

It is easy to treat your furniture or carpets and achieve results that once were only obtainable by seeking professional help.

For particularly exposed areas/products, you may wish to use Pure Guard Classic – ask your dealer.

You can also use Pure Guard on your sports and outdoor clothing. Clothing and your footwear stay dry, as they repel water while retaining their ability to respire. Particularly suitable for golf, hunting, sailing, running and much more.
